Positive behaviour support

Our school has incorporated many key elements of Schoolwide Positive Behaviour Support during 2010. One of these elements has involved us developing three broad school expectations (rules). These are included in our new school behaviour logo. In our conversations with students we positively reinforce these expectations and explicitly teach our students how they can:

  • be safe
  • be responsible
  • be respectful

Discipline Audit 2014

As part of an initiative to strengthen discipline in Queensland State schools, discipline Audits will be conducted in every Queensland state school by November 2014. The purpose of the Discipline Audits is to provide quality feedback on how the school is ensuring a safe, supportive and disciplined learning environment and to inform school behavior management planning processes.
