Ingham State School

Welcome to Ingham State School

The purpose of Ingham State School is to acknowledge that while our students have different learning capabilities and styles they all have the right to develop to their full potential academically, artistically, emotionally, socially and physically. We need to ensure our students are optimistic, motivated and are developing abilities and attitudes that will enable them to function effectively and productively in a global community that continues to change rapidly economically, socially and in technological terms-that they become lifelong learners.

This will be achieved by:

  • Developing strong and resilient relationships with parents and community
  • Teaching students life skills, problem solving, independence, responsibility and empathy
  • Creating a safe, tolerant and disciplined environment for students
  • Providing pedagogy that ensures students master literacy and numeracy
  • Promoting understanding of and the effective use of information and communication technologies
  • Focusing on inclusion
  • Communicating and collaborating with all stakeholders
  • Developing multi-cultural understandings throughout the school community
  • Promoting active participation within the community
  • Creating an environment where students can achieve a scientific understanding of the world.
